Important Updates on Aged Care Reforms

Australia’s aged care system is changing with the introduction of a new Aged Care Act and the Support at Home program from 1 November 2025.

These reforms are designed to give you more choice, greater independence, and clearer information about your care.

If you are currently receiving services, there is nothing you need to do right now, your care will continue as usual while changes are introduced.

At The Butler, we are here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you continue to receive personalised, high-quality support tailored to your needs.

Key Updates

Government Funding
& Support at Home Program

We specialise in securing funding to improve the lives of families at home. The Australian Government provides financial support to help older Australians access affordable home care services through Support at Home Program. These services can include everything from clinical support to independence to everyday living.

Once your funding is approved, we will collaborate to maximise your support, ensuring you live comfortably at home and in your community.

Private Care

As a Commonwealth Approved Provider, we also offer fee-for-service care for those needing immediate assistance while awaiting Government funding. With fully qualified, insured, first-aid trained, and police-checked staff, you can trust The Butler for peace of mind. We provide competitive rates and can create a custom care package tailored to your needs.
