Getting Started with The Butler

  • Call or email us to schedule your free consultation. We’ll follow up with a quick call to arrange a face-to-face meeting—coffee’s on us!  We’ll also send you an email with our information pack, so you have all the details you need before we meet.

  • Whether at your home, The Butler Office, or another convenient location, this meeting offers a great opportunity for us to provide you with our brochure and gain a deeper understanding of your unique needs. Together, we’ll discuss and create a personalised care plan tailored just for you. We’ll also share our fee structure and any other relevant materials to keep you fully informed. Our initial discussion will also include the following:

    • The assessment, planning and care
      delivery processes

    • Preferred communication methods

    • Obtaining applicable consents

    • Advance Care Planning

    • Identifying key contacts and relationships, including medical officers, Power of Attorney, allied health professionals and any others involved in making decisions about their care

    • Scheduling the assessment and planning meeting

  • Following our meeting, we’ll help coordinate with My Aged Care (MAC) as needed, either helping to arrange an assessment or assisting you with registration.

  • We’ll meet with you (and your family) at home to complete an assessment and collaboratively develop your care plan and budget. This plan outlines your needs, goals, and the services you’ll receive. During the meeting, we’ll review care details and finalise the service agreement.

  • We’ll make the agreement process smooth and easy, ensuring you receive copies of all signed documents
    for your records.

  • Once everything is in place, we’ll begin your care services as outlined in your plan. We’ll conduct ongoing reviews as needed and provide regular updates to you and your family.
